Two Secret Buttons on Your Body to Melt Stress Away
Dear beautiful soul,
Do you know your body has hidden "reset buttons"? Tiny points that, when pressed with a little love, can help calm your mind, ease anxiety, and even bring you better sleep. This week, I’d love to share with you two of my favorites: HT7 (Heart 7) and K3 (Kidney 3).
I first discovered these points during my 300-hour training in Holistic Yoga — where Ayurveda, TCM, and Yoga all blended into one beautiful web of wisdom. And let me tell you, these two points have been lifesavers for me whenever anxiety kicked in or when sleep just wouldn’t come.
Let’s explore them together:
HT7 – Shenmen (Spirit Gate)
📍 Location: On the wrist crease, in line with your little finger.

✨ Benefits: This point (Heart 7) is famous for calming the mind and nourishing the heart. Think of it as your emergency "anxiety off switch." It’s also used to help with insomnia and restlessness. Press it gently with your thumb for 1–2 minutes on each side, while breathing slowly. It feels like giving your nervous system a cozy blanket.
K3 – Taixi (Great Stream)
📍 Location: On the inside of your ankle, between the Achilles tendon and the ankle bone.

✨ Benefits: This point (Kidney 3) is a powerhouse for recharging your energy and grounding your emotions. It’s especially useful if stress makes you feel drained or scattered. It also supports kidney health, which in Chinese medicine is linked to vitality and willpower. Press and hold for 1–2 minutes, and imagine yourself drawing strength from deep inside the earth.
And the best part? You don’t need any special tools, just your hands and a moment of presence. You can do it while watching Netflix, before bed, or even in between Zoom calls (nobody will know you’re secretly pressing your calm button 😉).
I’ve been amazed at how such simple techniques can bring balance back into daily life. Yoga, Ayurveda, and holistic healing all remind us of this truth: your body already has the wisdom to heal — sometimes it just needs a gentle nudge.
Try them tonight before bed, and let me know how you feel.
With love, light, and gentle pressure,
Audrey 🌸
P.S. Next week, I’ll share another healing tool that blends ancient wisdom with modern life. Stay tuned and if you know a friend who could use more calm, forward them this email.
